This 14 day Enigmatic Peru Travel has been designed for all kind of travelers who want to take a spectacular journey through Peru. Travelers will experience varied landscapes visiting the natural regions of Peru as the coastal desert, you will be able to see the Peruvian Andes with its snow-capped peaks, deep valleys and the exuberant amazon or cloud forest.
In the enigmatic Peru travel, we will visit the most famous sites around Peru, starting at the mysterious Nazca Lines, Machu Picchu, the biggest spiritual center of the Incas, Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake of the world, (We will spend one night on the Amantani island where you will experience a home-stay). Colca Canyon one of the deepest in the world, Cusco, the marvelous ancient capital of Peru and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Upon arrival in Lima our representative will be waiting for you with a sign of Top Peru Trips and your name clearly marked. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in our private transport. After arrival at the hotel, our representative will assist you with the check-in and then you will have a brief introduction about the itinerary of your Peru travel, our representative will make recommendations about restaurants, banks and major places to visit. There are no planned activities for this day. so take it easy the beginning of your Peru travel.
Today, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the buffet breakfast which is included at the Hotel. The established schedules for the breakfast are from 6:00am to 10:00am. After breakfast, you will have all the morning free to rest and relax before starting your Peru travel.
After lunch, we will pick you up and continue our guided tour to the essential Lima, “The City of Kings” seeing on the tour the outstanding architectural sites of the city. We start visiting the Main Square, where we will see the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace.
We will continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel dating back to the 16th century. On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial center of the city. Finally, we will finish our tour in Miraflores, where we will visit the “Parque Del Amor” (Love Park) an excellent place to have a great view of the sea. The tour takes approximately 3 ½ hours.
You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Our representative will pick you up at 6:00am to transport you to the bus Station. The bus leaves from Lima at 7:00am and you will be driven south, along the main highway (Panamericana) from Lima to Ica through the extensive arid desert and lush coastal oasis.
We will arrive in Ica and check-in at the Hotel. After a short rest, you will be taken the airport and board the aircraft to begin enjoying the magic of flying over the mysterious Nazca Lines. You will observe various figures drawn on the sandy soil like: the monkey, the hummingbird, the condor, the spider, the astronaut and many others. Transfer to the Ica Hotel, where you will have free time in the afternoon.

Optional Tour in Ica – Dune Buggy & Sand boarding around Huacachina Oasis
For the most adventurous people, we suggest a buggy and Sand boarding tour around the Huacachina Oasis. The buggy tour around Huacachina’s desert is a great fun and full of adrenaline. Start late-afternoon at 4:00pm is the best time of day to take a tour as the sun is bright enough to illuminate the landscape.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the Hotel at 7:00am and transferred in our private vehicle to Paracas. On the route to Paracas you can see many of the crops and that are exported products such as paprika, asparagus, artichokes. We will drive north to Paracas for our two-hour motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands.
These beautiful islands are located just outside of the Paracas National Reserve, the biggest natural refuge in our shores and home for thousands of migratory birds. The birds share their habitat with large groups of sea lions and fur seals. On the way to the Islands, you will see a mysterious design on the hillside, called “El Candelabro” (The Candelstick) it was a reference for pirates and sign for the independence army to disembark.
After lunch, we will take the bus to get back to Lima arriving at approximately 7:30 pm. On your arrival our representative will be waiting for you and you will be transferred to your Hotel in Lima.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up at the scheduled time and will transfer you to Lima airport for your flight to Arequipa. Once you arrive at the airport, our representative from Arequipa will be waiting for you, where you will be greeted and transport to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel our representative will assist you with the check-in.
In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your Hotel to continue with the City Tour. The tour includes Mirador de Carmen Alto, Mirador de Yanahuara, Plaza de Armas and also we will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, called “a city within a city”, a Spanish city in miniature with stone streets, beautiful patios, and a plaza. It is a masterpiece of colonial architecture and houses some of the finest examples of Spanish American religious art. During colonial times, this was the refuge of female nobility who had decided to shut themselves away from the world so they could be dedicated entirely to prayer.
The tour takes Approximately 3 hours.
You will be picked up at 7:30am from the hotel and then continue with the excursion to Colca Canyon. We will then leave Arequipa to a journey to the center of the Earth, our end Colca Canyon. You will be able to see Chachani, Yura, a small valley with thermal springs. See wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, Alpacas & llamas in Tocra. Enjoy seeing some birds like flamingoes, ibis, Andean goose, ducks and the Andean eagle. “Kara Kara” is the view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa. See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca and the Chivay Capital.
In the afternoon, you can choose to the thermal springs & pools in La Calera

Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from the Hotel to start our excursion. Breakfast is from 6:00 am, to 6:30am. We will then begin our drive toward the “Cruz Del Condor”, a natural lookout point where you can see the spectacular flight of the majestic Condor.
On the way back to Chivay, we will visit the Mirador of Chinina, where you can find the famous Cliffside Tombs and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the Town of Yanque with Coporaque.
In the afternoon after the lunch, we will take the bus to Puno. Once you arrive at Puno Bus Station, our representative from Puno will be waiting for you. You will be transported to your Hotel and be assisted with checking-in. There will be a brief introduction about the tour for the next day which is Lake Titicaca.
We will spend two days on Lake Titicaca. You will be picked up from the Hotel and taken to the port. We will take a motor-boat to visit the floating islands of the Uros, also called Lake Town inhabited by the locals known as the Water Tribe.
These islands are built using the Totora reed and are used as home and trading centers of the natives. Hand-made boats of the same material are their means of transportation. We will travel to the Amantani Island, where the friendly community welcomes visitors.
On this island, you will spend the night with the local family (home stay). We will enjoy lunch with our host families. In the afternoon, we will walk to the top the island, where we will visit the most important religious places like:
Pacha papa and Pacha mama from where you can get a spectacular view of the lake.
In the evening, local families put on a musical show in the community hall.
After breakfast, we will board our boat and travel to Taquile Island. The island is inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed an interesting and efficient social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques.
Upon arrival at the Town of Taquile we will have a lunch. After lunch, we will walk through some of the hills and archaeological sites of this beautiful island.
In the afternoon, we will travel back to Puno.
After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up at 7:00am. You will be transferred to the Bus Station to travel to Cusco. Lunch will be served in Sicuani. Upon your arrival to Cusco, our representative will be waiting for you. After check-in at the Hotel, Our representative will give you a brief introduction about the tour for the next following days.
Optional journey by Andean Explorer Luxury Train; this spectacular journey begins in the beautiful city of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. You can choose between the Andean Explorer cars having the perfect opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery through the windows.
We will travel to La Raya must stop the train to admire the view from the highest point of the route. You will have the opportunity to enjoying the wonderful entertainment of dances typical of the Andes. As we enjoy our train ride, we will be served a delicious gourmet lunch and afternoon tea.
The Andean Explorer is scheduled the following days: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from March to November (not included in the price).
In the afternoon, we will start our sightseeing tour of Cusco the Imperial City, a living example of the mixture of the Andean and Spanish cultures.
We begin this tour visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Qoricancha, the ancient main Inca sun temple, with its very stunning architecture. Later, we will stop at the Main Square. We will visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, imposing sample of military Inca architecture which domains the city. We will finish our tour visiting the archaeological sites of Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.
After breakfast, we will pick you will be picked up from the hotel and we will begin driving towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will stop at Mirador of Taray to have a classic view of the Urubamba valley, with crops dressing the mountains like carpets. We will arrive to the traditional market of Pisac, where we will have free time to interact with the local craftsmen.
We will continue to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a very attractive town of Inca foundation with remarkable water channels, stone streets, colorful dress native people and the impressive fortress on the hill, with the exceptional Sun temple on the top.
In the evening we will travel by train to Aguas Calientes town. On your arrival you will be assisted and transferred to your Hotel.
Early morning after breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up and board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Where you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Sun Temple, the Sacred Sun Dial (Inti huatana), the Royal palace, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main temple, and the Sacred Roca, warehouses.
It will be an unforgettable experience at this mysterious and charming place, considered one of the new 7 wonders of the world. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the zone on your own, or you can take the hiking options (Not included in the price):
In the afternoon take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for the lunch, and then take the Train back to Cusco. Upon arrival to Cusco Train Station, reception and transfer to the Hotel
Breakfast at the hotel; Pick up from the Hotel at the scheduled time and transfer to Cusco Airport for your departure flight to Lima and then your international flight at home
