Day one: Cusco- Pisac- Urubamba- Ollantaytambo Chinchero

traje tipico Cusco To start this private day tour, we will pick up travelers from the hotels at 8:00a.m. And drive toward The Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will stop at the lookout of Taray to take in the view of the Urubamba valley. The valley is filled with crops that dress the mountains like carpets. We will arrive at the traditional market of Pisac, where we will have free time to shop and to interact with the local craftsmen. Pisac also has one of the most impressive Inca ruins on the mountain top (optional to visit it) we will continue to the town of Urubamba for a refueling lunch.

In the afternoon we will visit Ollantaytambo, a quaint town of Inca foundation with remarkable water channels, stone streets, colorfully dressed native people and the impressive fortress on the hill and the amazing Sun Temple on the top.

On our way back, we quickly visit one of the famous weaving centers in Chinchero, this is our chance to interact with the native women and learn all the techniques and process to make all the manmade textiles using alpaca and llama wool, we then arrive in Cusco around 6.30-7:00pm.
